So it's been a couple weeks since LOTRO launched.  It was easily the smoothest launch ever.  The transition from open beta to live was completely transparent.  No server instability, no insanity, just ... smooth launch.

The game seems to be doing pretty well -- no official numbers from Turbine yet, but those usually get released 30 days or so into Live.  There's always a ton of people around, though, at least on my server (Elendilmir). 

They've already announced June's content update. :)  They're skipping May, which makes sense, as they deserve a month "off" after release, hehe.  Turbine's famous for monthly content updates in AC1, and hopefully they'll keep in the traditional in LOTRO as well.
